Exterior Painting
Preparation determines whether exterior paint holds up or begins failing within a few seasons. Before applying any finish, surfaces are pressure washed, scraped, sanded, repaired, primed, glazed, and caulked so the coating bonds properly instead of sealing in existing deterioration. Minor carpentry repairs are addressed at the same time so damaged areas don’t return through the new paint.
We paint and stain all common siding types including clapboard, vertical siding, cedar shakes, stucco, and brick. Each material weathers differently and requires its own preparation method and product selection, which is why the process is adjusted to the surface rather than treated as a one-system application.
For siding affected by mildew, tannin bleed, or heavy weather staining, a wash-restore-brighten cleaning process is used to remove discoloration and stabilize the surface prior to finishing. This improves both appearance and longevity.
We also handle detailed work such as door refinishing and high-gloss specialty finishes when requested, along with routine exterior maintenance work that keeps a property protected year after year.
